Re-doing our driveway & sidewalks
Good morning! We're looking to replace our sidewalks and expand & repave our driveway this spring. If you've done this before could you please recommend the company that you used if you were happy with them?
So far we've met with Atlas (we won't be going with them) & I've setup an appointment with Scanapico Bros, whom I've seen highly recommended on here. Is there anywhere else that anyone would recommend? TIA!!

I'm in Oyster Bay township, so our rules are different, but yes def check with your town, cause each has their own rules...and it can become a HEADACHE and a half if work is done without the proper C/O's ..Trust me !!
Edited to say, i cant recommend anyone, because the work was done by the previous owners (while we were in contract)

It does vary from Town to Town, but you will most likely need a permit to do the driveway apron and the sidewalks. The Town may or may not allow you to widen the driveway apron - depends on the code.

Re: Re-doing our driveway & sidewalks
I do know that while they cut cement in the front, it had to be a certain size to be legal, because they had to redo the cut several times, because they wanted to do it a cheap way a hundred times, instead of doing it the right way once. It had to be a legal "one car" or legal "two car" space with enough room (again it depends on your town) from the street to the door etc etc.
