Re-introduction & 2 month old napping during day question...
Hi everyone - I guess I'll start off by re-introducing myself - My name is Mary and technically I've been a member of the boards for awhile now - never really posted much. My DD is 20 months old (and a major climber - but that is a separate post ;) ).
Fast forward, I just had my second child in May. DS is 2 months old. He is completely different than DD and makes me feel like a new mom all over again!
How often does your 2 month old nap during the day and how long are they awake during the day?
I have so many other questions /stresses but I'll start here! Thanks!

Re: Re-introduction & 2 month old napping during day question...
i believe he napped about 3-4 times. He was the worst napper! he fought sleep like it was his arch-nemesis.
i finally got him into the habit of playing with him and 90 minutes after he woke up, putting him down for a nap again. Sometimes he fought it, other times he'd just go out. If it was obvious he was NOT going to sleep i'd play with him for another 10 minutes and that usually tired him out.
GL!

Re: Re-introduction & 2 month old napping during day question...
Thanks for sharing! DS is a fairly good napper - I think I'm just so tired with taking care of him and DD, who is starting with the terrible two's behavior, that I feel like I'm not keeping track of how long he's been sleeping.
When he is being fed or sleeing he is fine, but during the in between times he is very fussy and wants to be held. So I guess sometimes it's easy for me to just let him sleep. And then I feel guilty for letting him sleep and at the same time - wonder if he actually should be left to sleep.
