? re pet food recall
I've seen a lot of posts from people who are feeding their dogs people food. I've felt my cats were ok because they've been eating Purina dry food, but now I'm seeing that some brands of Purina (Alpo) were recalled, and I just saw something about some dry brands being recalled. Is anyone feeding their CATS people food? If so, what are you feeding them? Thanks.

Re: ? re pet food recall
I don't really know what to feed them.
They recalled Hill's Prescription DIet m/d dry variety.
I had a cat ith a pancreas problem so in her last year of life we gave her boiled chicken breast with rice. We are thinking of that along with beef and possibly tuna (in water)

Re: ? re pet food recall
I am not feeding my cat people food, b/c the recall isnt in my country. I was feeding them science diet and I changed that b/c it was made in the USA and I just dont trust these companies. I also do not like a company that hides things. While I decided this I did a little search on making people food for cats. From what I understand, making people food for cats isnt as easy, they need taurine and other things for their diet. I did switch to organic food b/c it has no corn products or meat by products.
