RE-POST, race for hope - please help

hello,

as some of you know, my godson was diagnosed w a malignant brain tumor back in september of last year. after just a few months of chemo and radiation, his last test showed no sign of any active cancer cells, which i feel very blessed for. i have been wanting to do something in honor of tanner, and his bravery and amazingly cheery disposition through all of this. so on may 2nd i will be running the race for hope in washington dc. the race is sponsored by the national brain tumor society and they are raising donations for brain cancer research.

i am hoping that you ladies can spare anything, even just $1 to donate to my run. you might think a dollar won't do much good, but i see a little message at the bottom of the chat page saying there are over 12,000 users currently on LIF chat...and if everyone gave one little dollar, think of the huge donation i would have just from LIF!
