RE Recs - Have you heard of either of these docs?
I called my OB/GYN and they highly recommended two doctors:
Dr. Rosenfeld at North Shore UMC
OR
Dr. D. Kreiner at East Coast Fertility.
Do you have any information (+/-) about either of these two doctors? I'd like to call tomorrow and schedule an appointment.
(how long does it usually take to get an appointment?)
Thanks!

Re: RE Recs - Have you heard of either of these docs?
I wanted to let you know that Kreiner was recommended to me also by my OB/Gyn. We used East Coast for the first 4 months of fertility treatments. I saw him on my consult and then not again until 2 months later (saw many other drs. and nurse practioners). I didn't have a great experience there...I was always seeing someone new, the waits were always long in the AM when going in for daily monitoring, important test results were lost in the shuffle...I could go on and on...didn't really care for Kreiner but I can say if you do go there I did really like Dr. Z and Dr. Pena. Well we ended up switching to Dr. Chu at North Shore. I have to say my experience there was WONDERFUL!! You only see the doctors when being monitored. You have your own nurse that will call you with test results. The waits in the AM aren't bad...I was usually in and out in about 20 minutes. The nurses there are GREAT!

I did NOT like Kreiner at ALL!!!!!!! He made me feel very uncomfortable. And to make a long story short.. He missed the entire reason why I was not ovulating!!!! I used Keningsberg From Long Island IVF. You can check them out at LongIslandIVF.com. Keningsberg pinpointed the problem and we were pregnant a month later. :)
Good LUCK!

I did NOT have a good experience with Kreiner.
I've heard good things about Rosenfeld.

Dr. Rosenfeld did my Lapro surgery. I have nothing bad to say about him. He made me feel comfortable, and he's definately an expert in his field. Any questions feel free to FM me.

Re: RE Recs - Have you heard of either of these docs?
I have been to Reproductive Specialist of NY (RSofNY), Sher Institiue for Reproductive Medicine(SIRM), Long Island IVF (LIIVF), & Reproductive Medicine Associates of NY (RMA). I have to say you should definitely interview at a few different places because it really helps if you "click" w/ your doctor & truly believe in them. I know a lot of people recommended LI IVF & I know they were happy, however I did not like Dr. Kenigsberg at all. After several bad experiences at different places I went to RMA (the Garden City office) & it was truly like a breath of fresh air. The experience was night & day to any other that I had. I had Dr. Flisser & loved him & his staff. I never waited more then 10 minutes for an appointment & was never rushed. I also saw Dr. Flisser & spoke w/ him at almost every appointment which is very unusual for an RE. They also have the Manhattan office if that is more convienent for you. My weekend appointments I had to go there & that is where they do transfer & retrievals. They also have the highest statistics w/ the CDC. You should check out that website no matter who you choose to see their sucess rates. I wish you the best of luck. I know how hard & frustrating infertility can be. After 3 failed IUI 's & 3 failed IVF's, I actually became pregnant naturally in the middle of my fourth IVF!! If you have any other questions feel free to FM me.
the website is www.rmany.com & you can usually get an appointment very quick, especially @ Garden City
