Really? 4 vials of menopur?
It felt like it took an hour to do this shot.
I guess practice will make perfect!

Yes. I did it last night that way. I hit a vein too and I bled. Then I had a little purple bump. I'm thinking I should call them and tell them.
I felt like a mad scientist. It took forever.

Yikes! Sorry to hear that.
I was mostly asking bc I did 3 menopur and 1 gonal-f and mixed them all together into 1 short needle and it was done 1-2-3.
Hitting a vein is the worst! 
Hope things go better tonight. At least you're getting closer.........

you did gonal f and menopur in one needle?
I did three shots last night. menopur, gonal f and lupron.
The whole thing took an hour.

They told me to mix it all up together in 1 tiny needle. (The ganirelex was a pre-filled syringe so when they added that, it was a 2nd shot.)
Call your dr! If I wasn't a pain-in-the-neck asking a million questions before I started stimming, I would have been doing 4 shots each night. DH mixed everything up in about 5 minutes and then stabbed me. It was QUICK!
It can't hurt for you to look into it!

Oh, I've done that too. Ugly when you hit a vein.
Wow, wonder if you could do them all together. But, the gonal-f is prefilled. No one ever told me i could do them together.
It is like a science project, right!!!

I have to build in an hour of time every night for the next 10 days or so I guess.
Can't do anything with gonal f unless I just squirt into a cup or something and then draw it out.
The 4 vials I do in one shot.
Just mixing it was a PIA.
The vein was angry at me.

Are you using the Q-caps? They make it go a little quicker, but I agree, the Menopur is a PITA. I was doing 6 vials at a pop at one time. 
As for the gonal, maybe you can shoot it into the syrinige with the menopur and then just do the 1 shot?

I was on 4 vials on menopur also! My husband always mixed my meds and he hated doing the menopur because it took forever.

maybe I'll get DH to mix my meds..give him something to do. He can do that while I give myself lupron and gonal f.
