Really need some help- guidance-my office is in a neighborhood w/ feral kittens

My heart is breaking for them. A month ago there was a stray one by my office it was crying for it's Mommy, and then left. Yesterday, there was a dead one on the street. I was crying. Is there any organizations that can help? I am not a crazy cat lady- but love animals- I have 2 indoor kitties, and they are spoiled. My heart breaks going to work and seeing this. Can someone steer me in the right direction? how can people be so stupid and not spay or neuter there animals or just leave them outside...Chat Icon

oh gosh I know, I'm the same way! I've been thinking of getting a cat so if you can catch a friendly one let me know! FM me for email address...
Aside from that, try Alley Cat Allies, and Rescue Ink

yea they will need to be trapped and spayed/neutered and either released or adopted out if they can be socialized.

besides the two mentioned try:

If the cameras are not rolling, Rescue Ink will not be there. You may want to call your local town shelter to find out if they have a TNR (trap, neuter, release) program. Some do....Good luck!

Try Second Chance Animal Rescue in Copiague. They should help if you are in Nassau or Suffolk. Good Luck.

Just letting you know that a poster on here is trying to find a new home for her beautiful adult cats because her son is allergic. The post is under pets "DS is allergic-need to find a new home". There are pics of them.
