Really stupid hospital related question...
Can you wear a bra while you're in labor at the hospital? I never not wear a bra as long as I'm awake and although I know it won't be my top focus, I think I would be uncomfortable without one. So BTDT moms, were you able to keep your bras on? Specifically LIJ delivery mommies! Thanks!

I did..then again, I break most rules 
I ended up with a c/s and had in my contacts and had make up on
My boobs are huge and I hate not wearing a bra. It depends on what they say to you..but you could always try to explain what YOU want.

my sister in law wore her bra and she delivered at LIJ

I went in last monday for an induction (which failed) but the nurse let me keep on my bra.

They made me take mine off and I was so ******.
she told me to and I left it on and DH so kindly reminded me right in front of the nurse that I still had it on.

i begged to leave mine on - but i couldn't 
i was a scheduled c-section though - so i understand their concerns!
honestly - i stressed about this big time while i was preggo - i thought to myself that i would put it on as soon as i got into my room after the section - but i didn't end up putting it on until the next day. you just get caught up with everything it's like it doesn't matter anymore!

I had an induction and C/S and left my bra on the whole time. They taped my Epidural to it!
Before I went to the hospital I went to Motherhood Maternity and bought those sleep bras (it's like a tank top but with a crossover front. Not TOO mch support but just enough to hold the 'girls' in place.
It stayed on through my whole C/S.

LIJ mom here - they made me take off EVERYTHING. I assure you that in the throws of labor you aint gonna give a rats arse which way your left boob is going and where your right boob is going. Just like you are going to tell them to go eff themselves when they ask you if you've ever been treated medically for depression and if you would like to see a social worker to prevent PPD after the kid comes out while you are contracting and prepping for an emergency c-section.
