Really Worried - Prayers please **UPDATE**
As some of you may remember, i had posted before that i have been spotting since July 1st, about 2 weeks now. On July 4th, i started bleeding uncontrollably and went to the ER to make sure everything was ok. It was like AF had come. The ER told me i might miscarry. the next day, i went to my RE and he said ot to worry because the bleeding wasn't coming from the baby, but a different part of my uterus.
July 4th was the only day where i had a heavy flow. Ever since then, i've still had spotting but really just in the morning, where its been kind of brownish and then by the end of the night when i wipe on the tp, its clean. Until it starts all over again the next day.
This morning, when i went to the bathroom to wipe, it came back with, the only way i can describe it as is, black sludge. it was gooey and slimy and there was a whole gunk of it. TMI, sorry.  when i wiped again, there was less and when i wiped a third time, there was no more. i'm not in any pain and i've gone to the bathroom twice since then and its gone back to its normal color or brownish blood.
i called the Dr. ASAP and they told me to come in today at 3pm to do a sono and make sure everything is ok.
Has anyone else experience this black gunk discharge? this is the first time it happened, its not smelly or anything but i'm a wreck now until this afternoon.
If anyone has any words of wisdom or any spare prayers they could through my way, i would really appreciate it.
*UPDATE* i saw the doctor and they checked the  and it was doing perfect! its measuring exactly where its supposed to be and the heartbeat was 175pm. They still don't know what's causing all this bleeding. Its not from the baby and its not in the cervix. All they can surmise if that it is old AF blood that now since the uterus is stretching, its dislodging and making its way out slowly.

 Sounds like a blood clot. I'd stay of your feet for now. It's a good sign that you stopped seeing it and aren't in pain!

I haven't experience the black gunk but with DS I had very heavy bleeding 3-4 times (can't remember exactly how many times anymore) amd spotting in the first trimester and i think spotting in the 2nd tri too. It was sooo scary cuz when I say heavy I mean like uncontrollably pouring with giant clots and it ranged in color from bright red to very dark burgundy.(TMI...sorry) but every time we did a sono he was fine. The bleeding was not coming from him same as you. I know this has to be very scary so I'm here if you need me...feel free to FM me! And do your best to stay calm!!! PLEASE let me know what happens at the doc today!!!!

I don't know anything about this... but my positive side has me thinking that brown blood is usually old blood... so maybe it was just what was left from a couple weeks ago making its way out?

Hope everything turns out ok this afternoon. Just a few more hours, so try keep your mind otherwise occupied. I'm glad they got you in so quickly, and I think it's a good sign you don't have cramps.
Please let us know what the dr says this afternoon!

Good luck! That black stuff could just be maybe old blood that was left from the episode on the 4th. No pain is a good sign. Ive had some bleeding issues as well but Im 28 weeks now and everything (knock wood) is fine.

I have had the black sludge and it was old blood that kind of coagulates. I pray it is nothing for you too.
