Rec. a safe convertible seat for a smaller car
I want to get another seat for my parents car. We have britax boulevards but I think that seat is too large for a toyota coralla. I don't want to spend a ton of money but obviously safety is most important.

Re: Rec. a safe convertible seat for a smaller car
Most seats should fit.
Budget seats that I usually recommend are the Cosco Scenera 40 and Evenflo Tribute, those are under &75
For under 150:
Graco MyRide First Years True Fit Britax Roundabout Evenflo Triumph 65
I always reommend having hem come with you to play with the harness, etc to ensure that they can fasten/unfasten/tighten etc properly (this could be beneficial esp if they are weaker or arthritic etc)
ETA: All seats sold in the US pass the same safety standards. The tests are pass or fail, with only passes making it to market. If it's on the shelf it has passed the tests.

We have a fairly small car and have the Britax Roundabout. We got it largely because of its size (over other Britax seats).

I had a Britax Advocate CS in our 2 door Honda coupe. If my monster seat fit in our coupe, I think you can probably go with any seat since I'm sure the corolla is bigger.

This used to be true on the old, white shell Britax seats, but the new black shell seats (Roundabout, Marathon, Boulevard, Advocate) all use the same shell.
