Rec place to go for kitchen
DH and I are in the beginning planning stages of upgrading our kitchen.
Can you recommend a place to go for this or a designer?
Note that we are not looking for super high-end and honestly, DH could probably do a lot of the work himself.
We are in SW Suffolk so would like to stay fairly local.
P.S. Has anyone gone the Ikea route?
I haven't been there in several years and everytime in the past I have gone with DH we've gotten into a fight because it is so chaotic there.

We are located in Copiague, New York and manufacture cabinets based on your specifications - that means no fillers or wasted space. That doesn't mean super high-end price though- many people are surprised just how affordable custom-made cabinets can be.

Try Kitchen depot in Hauppauge. We used them for our bathroom. They were fabulous and significantly cheaper than Home Depot for Cabinetry. Excellent quality!

We just used lowes in bayshore.. They were excellent and good prices.
