Recent BFP....Christmas related...

Even though I literally just found out & am only 4 weeks..we are telling our parents & siblings tomorrow!
Its best that others know, since my DH travels for work.
I'm considering telling my best friends from HS tonight at dinner. This is the first time we are all going to be together at one time since my wedding 2 years ago. My children will call them "Aunt" so I cant imagine telling them over the phone in a few months.

im 9w5d and I am still skeptical of telling family this weekend. I would really love to but I really would rather tell everyone after 3 months.

Since I barely my side of the family I am telling them on Christmas Eve; I will be 6 weeks. Still very early but would rather do it in person!

I will be 6 weeks on xmas, we will not be telling people (just my mom and sister know at this point) until I hit 12 weeks.

idk if it's wrong of me to post here...i don't want to hurt feelings or deter anyone from telling their families on christmas in early weeks of pregnancy if that's really what you want to do...but last year we told my family on christmas b/c we were just so excited and filled w holiday spirit...and i miscarried a week later at 9 weeks.
again, i apologize if this is a negative post but i just wanted to put my experience out there. it made it a lot harder to deal w the m/c, since we had just shared the news w our families at such a happy time. BUT i'm talking about telling aunts, uncles, and cousins. not just close family. those people i would not have told i miscarried if they hadn't' known. i was glad i had told my siblings and parents b/c it helped that they knew and understood my grieving after losing the baby. i just thought my experience might help anyone who is on the fence to take it into consideration a little more.
i really don't mean to be a downer. good luck and happy sharing for anyone telling their families this weekend!

we are telling immediate family on sunday. i will be just shy of 10 weeks. one of my friends will be there and she will be sworn to secrecy. I am nervous but went to a doc appt on monday and all seemed well- no more bleeding, heartbeat was great, lo was moving around like crazy..i wish you all the best..

We told everyone over Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and everyone was just beyond ecstatic! Everyone has been waiting for our #2!!!!!!! It was awesome!
