I'm making dinner for my mom and I think she'll disown me if I make shepards pie (she HATES it - ate a lot growing up).
I found a recipe for lamb pies - like the Jamacian Beef pies.
was hoping someone had a good recipe

Re: Recipe need for Ground Lamb please!!!
I just made lamb burgers last week! My DH loved them in Ireland. Mixed with some rosemary, s&p, drizzle olive oil and put them on the grill. I bought awesome ciabatta rolls too.

Recipe need for Ground Lamb please!!!
Well, I finally used the ground lamb. I couldn't find the lamb pie recipe I said I found so I made burgers. This is basically what I did - without measuring:
Ingredients 1/4 grated onion Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 cloves garlic, grated 1 pound ground lamb 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 tablespoon tomato paste feta crumbles
Mixed it all together and cooked on the stove in EVOO. They fell apart so I guess I'll add some breadcrumbs/egg next time.
I made it with Orzo with Feta and Lemon (lemon zest, lemon juice, 1 table spoon EVOO, S&P and some feta crumbles). DS LOVED it - he loves anything with lemon. Said next time it needed more lemon.
I also made a tzatziki sauce (greek yogurt, grated cucumber, grated garlic, S&P) and that was AMAZING!!! I couldn't believe how good it was. Now I just need more stuff to put it on.
