I went to Marshalls and got a RUSK one for $30. Works great.
The tend to carry a big line of flat iron for decent prices.

I got a baby bliss at TJ Maxx for $25. I really like it. Marshalls had them also.

Re: Recommend a cheap but decent flat iron?
check out folica.com i just got a new flat iron for $35, silk 2 is the brand. It's ceramic tourmaline, which is what the CHI and other expensive straighteners are! It works great, I love it!

My girlfriend swears by the Remington wet to dry flat iron. She uses it and her hair always looks great. I think she said she paid like $30 or something in that price range

I agree! When mine wore out, I bought an expensive one and I hate it. I am going back to buying another Remington wet to dry.
