Recommend a good NYC restaurant to go to after a show

DH and I are going to see Blue Man Group during the holidays, and we want to make it a nice date and go to a good moderately priced restaurant. Nothing to crazy fancy ( we will not really be dressed up, they tell you not to for this show) It can be in the area, or towards Rockefellar center area. We usually dont research restaurants before we go to the city, and end up picking something mediocre last minute. tell me whats good and why. Thanks!

you could go anywhere from there. What kind of food and atmosphere? What's your final destination?

DH and I really like the Rock Center Cafe. That's in Rockefellar Center.

I would suggest eating away from Times Square and the Rock Center area.

Some great recs in the village, little italy and tribeca..

Devin Tavern
Il Cortile
BLT Steak
Fiamma Osteria
Lupa

You will have a better shot at a reservation away from Times Square and the tree.

Enjoy!

Del Frisco's is right near Rock Center, it's awesome, $$$, but worth it.

Heartland Brewery. It's right by Radio City Music Hall.

I second this restaurant. They have the best steaks but is pricey.

Heartland Brewery is also good, more casual and not expensive.
