recommend backsplash tile for this kitchen?

Help? I have NO clue where to begin with tile. I dont want anything too close to the floor or granite (too much beige) maybe a punch of color?

here are some pictures of the floor, cabinets, granite and paint. i am clueless and we need to get this done asap!
