Recommend place to get mammogram?
My Dr. said its time to get one and I have no idea where to go - they gave me a prescription and said i could go anywhere.
I live in Southwestern Nassau - any recommendations?

Zwanger Pesiri is great. I go to the one in Massapequa, but they have several locations.

I always go to Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre. they have a great Radiology department. i go annually for mammograms and sonograms there. (I have a family history and have already had benign lumps and bumps starting under 30)

I had a great experience at Winthrop Breast Imaging...not in the hospital but in a medical bldg on either Old Coutry Rd or Stewart Ave.
