Recommend shoes/sneakers for 6 months old with FAT feet
Please!
I like DS to wear the soft crib shoes just to keep his feet warm and protected while in exersaucer and similar toys. Now that he is crawling I really need to get more. The problem is, his feet are wide and fat so I am having trouble finding shoes that fit him. I tried BRU and even their 12 month sized shoes don't fit. (lenghtwise is OK, but the height of his foot won't fit in. There is fat on top of his foot.) I only have 2 pairs left that fit him. I got them from marshalls and they have velcro tops. There is no name listed on them, otherwise I would just search for more of these online.
Suggestions?

Stride Rite make double wide shoes. I've always bought them for both boys.

I just got Todd Jr robeez, and they fit his feet great, he also has fat feet--lol

what size did you get? Landon and Todd are similar sizes I think.

DS has cubby little feet, until he started walking he was in robeez or something like them. You can get similar types at Target.
Stride Rite has soft shoes, but only for the lower sizes. Once they get to size 5 (I think) then they are the harder soled

DD has fat feet and her robeez are the BEST. She's wearing the 12-18 month size with plenty of room to spare (and she's in a size 4 shoe now), so you could probably get DS the 6-12 month size.

Thanks, the length of size 3 shoes looks right. it is the thickness that doesn't fit. So 6-12 Robeez will probably fit, right? Are robeez sold is any stores or just online?

Stride Rite - but honestly, until he was walking he was only in socks or barefeet. That's actually what's recommended I believe!

I've only seen them in the Gap. I bought DD's from shoebuy.com. I'm pretty sure they had free shipping and free returns.

Thats what I read too.
But his feet are always so cold. And he is kicking everything. I don't want him to hurt his feet.

BBB in Huntingon on 110 had a big selection of Robeez and pediped shoes.
