Recommend Vampire books
I am hooked on Vampire books. Read the twilight and Sookie Stackhouse series. What other ones are out there that you would recommend?

Re: Recommend Vampire books
These are all YA but I recommend them
Evernight by Claudia Gray Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith Bloodline by Kate Cary
I haven't read these but a friend of mine loves the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. This is an Adult series and is supposed to be really erotic.

ITA!! i love love love vampire books, and the early books are still amongst the best vampire books out there. the movie adaptations were awful. the first four books are the best. i even named my kitty after one of the characters.
for classics there's Dracula of course. there's also Camilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. i love the time period.
if you want something modern and a lot dirtier than the sookie stackhouse series, read the Anita Blake books by Laurel K. Hamilton. There are like 15 books in the series now. I stopped reading them after book 12 or so, because it was the same old story line, but the first in the series are definitely worth checking out.

I read Interview With a Vampire right before the movie came out, and I was so hooked I read all of her vampire series.
