Recommend your computer printer
i have a printer that is 8 years old. it's time for a new one yay!! i don't want to spend over $150-$200. Thanks!!

i forget where you other post went but did you ever find someone to fix your moms computer...FM if you still need help
ink jet = old school...go laser...
I own a dell 3100 laser color printer that i got for 200 bucks years ago...printed 2000+ pages and still have 65% of ink left in all the cartigdes...
well worth the investment to spend more now then inkjet and keep buying new ink

Do you print mainly photos, plain text, or pages with text and some color.
Mainly photos = photo printer
Plain text = laser printer
Mixed text and color = inkjet
They all serve a particular purpose, and they all have pros and cons, depending on what you need.

I have this HP and really like it.
It prints great photo's and it's a scanner and copier. It's a great price too!

I have the 7410 (same but with wireless). it's an awesome machine. I've had a few paper feed issues.
I think this is was over the price range though
FH has the Canon MP380, which I think has worked a lot better , but I keep the HP because it's wireless.
