Recommend your convertible car seat
WE are registering for a Chicco travel system, but want to register for the convertible car seat as well
What are the best ones out there?
Did you register for just 1, or 2 so you and your significant other would have one for each car?

So far we have just registed for one, the Britax Roundabout.
I do plan on registering for a less grade 2nd for DH's car. We will primarily be using my car so I don't think he needs a top notch one. If for some reason he was planning a long trip with DC he'd either take my car or we'd swap car seats.

We registered for (and rec'd) both the Britax Marathon & Graco Snugride (infant carrier).

Britax Marathon is the covertable one... for the infant seat we are down for one of the snugrides/travel systems - whichever BRU decides to have available between now and May.

my SIL loves her Britax Marathon and she has been through a lot of car seats with her kids. that being said, i did not register for it because i felt it was too big for our vehicle.

Alpha Omega Elite. It was 1 point lower than the Britax on Consumer Reports and the price differential was almost $100/seat.
