Re: recommend your daycare in western nassau
i'm looking into this too... i'd be interested to hear what people recommend because i'm having a hard time! how old is your child? i have friends who send their children to brookville learning center on marcus ave in new hyde park and love it. i'm considering that for DD---but i have to see what type of nursery school setting they have because she's almost 2.

Re: recommend your daycare in western nassau
My DS went to Harbor Child Care in Herricks. I loved it so much. He was in the Sunflower room and got such wonderful attention from his teachers there. I cried on his last day. We had to take him out because we moved otherwise I would have definitely stayed there. We know other people that go and they love it as well.

We looked at the Tutor Time on Jericho Tpke. I know many people that send their children there as well. It comes highly recommended. I just happened to like Harbor better. It had a more "homey" quality to it. I also thought the infant rooms were better which is what I was interested in at the time. DS started at 5 months but he's 20 months now.

The boy I used to babysit for (he's 17..haha) used to go there as well and I know his family raved about it...

Harbor Child Care in Herricks. I have no 1st hand experience with it - but I have heard over the years the name of this place 1st from people I used to work with that used it - and then just in passing over the years. I have always heard very good things about it.
