Recommend your home inspector in Nassau County please
We may have a shot at a house we placed a bid on (Mass park). Anyone able to recommend their inspector - we want a good, thorough one that can also include the termite inspection. Also, how much did you pay for the person you recommend?

We used wini.com ... They have a few diff inspectors throughout LI... we used chuck and paid $285 w/ terminte inspection for a condo... not sure how much a house would be

We used this company .. they were wonderful. We actually used them 3 times for a home inspection.
Home Inspector
Same company differ website.. They have many locations home inspector

We bought in Massapequa last year & used Harry Pashkoff, he was very good. I think he sets up the termite inspection for you as well. I cant remember exactly how much we paid but i know it wasn't a crazy amount. pretty reasonable. He is very thorough!

We used this company too. I think the guy who did it was Steve, and the owner is Bob. We paid $485 for a small inline ranch.

Generally, what is the cost? We just had an offer approved for a 3 bedroom colonial with a basement. I'll be calling tomorrow to set it up but am wondering if anyone knows.

we used Win home inspection and we used Steve. he was great! for a 4bedroom 3 bath house I think it was around $430. with Win the price is based on beds and baths. This included a terminate inspection. I HIGHLY reccomend them. there website is www.wini.com they give you this binder with all the inspection stuff including digital pictures of anything they note. We are about to use them again on another house. Quick turn around time too. we had the entire report emailed to us that night and 2 days later we had the binder in hand, couldn't be happier!

We actually have friends that are engineers and they did our first home inspection...that deal (short sale) fell through and now we are trying to go into contract with something else. We want to get it done quickly and we don't think our friends are available until Saturday.
How long does it usually take to get them in to do the inspection?

THe guy I used on Sun was awesome. It is Korine Associates. His name is Avi. I called on Fri and he was in there on Sunday and we had the written report on Mon. He tells it like it is which is why I liked him so much.

Kb inspections. his name is rich collett and he's great. he really gets in there and walks you through every step of the way. explains things to you and really helps educate you on what he's doing and what kind of house you're getting into. we used him twice.
