Recommend your swing!
I am REALLY liking the fisher price ocean wonders swing BUT it only runs on batteries...
The Graco Sweet Peace Soothing center seems to be the newest thing but it is getting awful reviews from parents.
Any suggestions?

My DS hated the FP ocean wonders. IMO i hated it too. It really only played sleepy music and it got on my nerves. Not much to entertain IMO. So if i was to buy one again i would get another

I have the FP starlight papasan. I absolutely love it. One of the main reasons I registered for this one was because it plugs in and eoesn't solely rely on batteries.

FP papasan swing! DS LOVES it and i love that it turns 2 ways.
the batteries aren't a big deal--DS is 2 months old and is in it every day. the first batteries i put in are still working!

Papasan Swing. Lily used it from the day we brought her home from the hospital until she was 8 months old. Every day. Multiple times a day. It was a lifesaver and a miracle all rolled into one.
Yes, it uses batteries.....but we bought them from Costco in bulk and didn't mind since the swing kept her happy!!

I have the Ocean Wonders and loved it with both kids. I find that I use the swing ALOT with DS since he has reflux. He naps at least 4 hours a day in it and I'm not changing the batteries all that often.
DD prefered the bouncy.

I have the FP starlight Papasan Swing... it plugs in... DD LOVES it... it has saved us! she only sleeps in this thing now... i think they recently discontued it though... my MIL bought the rainforest one and DD likes that one just as much and it also plugs into the wall... i just like the music a little better on mine and i love that i have the lights on it for nighttime, but the rainforest one is just as nice...

I like the travel swing. You can move it all around the house (taking a shower, cooking, laundry, etc). I returned my large swing for this and never regretted it.

This is what I ended up getting and it was wonderful. DS liked the side to side rocking so much better than the back and forth.....and I didn't think I changed the batteries that much either.

The Fisher Price Papasan Swing. DD loves this! She's had some of her best naps in there. It can swing left to right or front to back and you can use batteries or you can plug it in (great feature)! Image Attachment(s):

The Papasan is great as it rocks like a cradle and swings like a swing...the thing to do is to register for batteries! LOL LOTS of them!
