I've waited to long and I am going to do it to feel better about me!
Please recommend your place, person etc. or warn us about places not to go!
Also any info on cost, pain, follow up etc. would be greatly appreciated by me and I am sure a lot of ladies on this site!
THANKS!

Re: Recommend your...Laser Hair Removal Place
I posted about this a few weeks ago. I took the plunge and bought a deal off of lifebooker.com for a brazilian bikini deal at Voila Skin Spa in Midtown. I am sooo glad I did it! It took 15 minutes MAX for one treatment and the pain was totally fine...about hte same as a waxing, maybe less.
The deal was 59$ for two sessions (medium-sized area). My approach will now be to buy deals like this and go whenever I can afford. I have only done one session and have already seen great results.

How long does the hair have to be before you laser it? I have a Groupon as well & have no clue.

My friend works at Tropicalaser of Long Island in Garden City. I have a coupon for a free small area. I'm just to nervous to go . I've never done it before.

I go to Aura Laser & Skin Rejuvenating Spa in Whitestone. They have groupon once in awhile.
I paid $200 for 6 sessions. I'm having my 5th one this weekend and noticed a difference after my 1st treatment. I'm probably going to get another coupon to do my underarms and possibly my arms.
ETA: They use the Pain-Free, Hair-Free Treatment. Which IMO, is the least painful of any Laser treatment I have done.
It's more of a heating sensation and takes all of 5 minutes. No redness afterwards and you can actually breath while doing the treatment :)

I am doing the Hair Free, Pain Free treatment and it requires that you shave completely before a session.
If you don't you'll feel the heat more because it has to get rid of the hair.
If this is your first time, I would not shave before your first session and let them take a look. They will let you know for the next time what you need to do.
