Recommendation?
I've been TTC for about 8 months and I'd like to make an appointment with a specialist. I know the dr's say that it could take up to a year (I'm in my early 30s), but if there is a medical reason, I'd really rather just find out sooner rather than later. Will they agree to see me for a consultation, or do I have to wait a full year first?
Does anyone have a recommendation for one in the RVC area? I see people referring to RE's, but I don't know what that stands for. I'm assuming its the specialist you go see if you haven't had any luck TTC? TIA

I live in RVC and go to LI IVF in Lake Success. I have been happy so far.

Recommendation?
I went well before I should have, even before 6 months. They will absolutely see you, but insurance may be an issue. Some may want you to try naturally before the expense of medicated cycles.

Re is a reproductive endocrinologist
this is exactly what i was going to say regarding the insurance. I was about 8 months of truly TTC by the time I got pregnant with DS (2 very early losses).
