Recs for a YA Series

I am getting surgery next week and want to make sure I have plenty of entertainment as I recover - any recs for good YA series - No Vampires, but other supernatural/dystopian series are ok.

I have read the Hunger Games, Matched, Uglies

I know you said no vampires but I Vampire Academy was SOOOOOOO good.

Also
The Trylle Trilogy was great (Amanda Hocking)
The Iron Fey series was good.

I'll think of more.

I could have sworn I suggested Lois Lowry's trilogy- The Giver, Gathering Blue and Messenger, though it must have been another thread. Chat Icon

I second Percy Jackson, His Dark Materials and the Lois Lowry trilogy. (And Harry Potter, of course! Chat Icon )

Oh I recently read The Immortals series by Alyson Noel. I really liked it. It was a nice change from faries and vampires.
