Red, dry patch on face
Yesterday morning, DD woke up with a red mark below her eye, right on her cheekbone. It actually looked like she had bumped into her crib or something there, and that it was going to turn into a bruise...but she hadn't cried when it happened, and it wasn't swollen. It was like that all day.
And now today, it looks the same and maybe like it's gotten bigger. Again, not raised or bruised. I'm assuming it's a dry patch of skin, since we haven't done anything different-- no different soap, laundry detergent, foods, etc.
Is there anything I can put on her face? I never use lotion on her face...I do have the Burt's Bees lotion I use on the rare occasion that her legs, etc are dry...would I use that?

I put Cetaphil on K's face after each bath (basically in her cheek area only). Do you have any of that? It's a really nice, unscented, mild lotion.

No, I'll get some and try it though, thanks! It's just basic Cetaphil? I'll look for it at lunch today.
It's weird, it doesn't even look flaky or anything, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Re: Red, dry patch on face
DS has red patched on his face this week too. Near wher the pacifier sits. I think it is dry skin so I have been putting aquafor on it.

C I have a TON of cetaphil sample sizes from a friend who works in a derm office-if you want I can give you some tomorrow.

Re: Red, dry patch on face
We use aquafor. I've never tried cetaphil for DD but I bet that would work too.
