Red rash on forehead

Hi!!

My daughter has a red, prickly rash on her forehead. It seems to be spreading and getting more irritated looking. She's teething, but it's not on her cheeks or chin. What can it be? I bought my son and her a playmate that smells a little "plasticy" if that makes sense and am worried maybe there are some kind of chemicals in it. She rolls around on it all day. Also, I have been feeding her banana's and apples for a while now and am not sure if she has an allergy. Lastly, my dh bought the generic version of dreft (even though I told him not too) and I don't think it's that because it would probably be all over her body.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this could be and how I should treat it? She has been acting normal and just rubbing her eyes from time to time.

Jo - did you call the ped? Maybe Brianna just rubbed her forehead on the mat and it irritated her. I don't think it would be the food, and probably not the generic Dreft.
