Red Velvet or vanilla cake with cookies and cream?
Deciding on DD's 1st Birthday cake..
What do you ladies think more people would like?
Red Velvet with cream cheese or vanilla cake with a cookies and cream k\filling?

Even though I love red velvet, I would stick with the vanilla cake, just to play it safe.

red velevet is my fave! but vanilla would be a better choice i feel like you either love red velvet or hate it - vanilla will please more people.

I'd do vanilla. I love red velvet but
well i guess it depends...if it's mostly adults then do the red velvet but if you have a significant amount of kids def do the vanilla. kids are so picky and if it doesn't look like something they have had before they prob won't eat it

MMMmmmmmm Red Velvet!
*sigh* as much as I say go for it.. I'd go with Vanilla. For AJ's party we had vanilla with strawberry mousse as the 'cake' and standard vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for the 'kids' so they could choose. cupcake or cake. Mostly the parents ate the cake which was DEVINE!
For me its 'who is going to eat the cake' question, more than anything.

Depends on the guests. For DS 1 first bday it was more adults and some kids. If that's your case I'd do red velvet and some fruit and maybe a small tray of cookies on the side for people who don't like red velvet.
If its a lot of kids then the vanilla cake with cookies.
