"Timeless California architecture, rustic materials and beautiful gardens," says a pal, gave the actress the perfect storybook setting for her special day in Ojai, Calif.
Wearing a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier blush-hued gown with a Chantilly lace corset bodice and full tulle A-line skirt, Witherspoon, 35, "wowed," says a guest. "She took your breath away." The gown was adorned with a double-face silk satin ribbon with cascading silk flowers, which matched the dress of Witherspoon's daughter Ava, 11, who served as maid of honor in her own custom Lhuillier.
The bride changed into a second Lhuillier design – a white silk minidress with a party skirt – for the reception.
"There was a real family feel," a guest tells PEOPLE. "There was so much joy in the room and a lot of laughter," adds another.

I can't see much of the dress, but I have to say.....I'm disappointed.  And I'm really bummed about that because I love her and think she looks gorgeous in gym clothes. So I guess I just expected something a little more....WOW!
Hopefully when I see more pics I'm change my mind. I guess as long as he thought she looked gorgeous, that's all that matters.

I can't see much of the dress, but I have to say.....I'm disappointed. And I'm really bummed about that because I love her and think she looks gorgeous in gym clothes. So I guess I just expected something a little more....WOW!
Hopefully when I see more pics I'm change my mind. I guess as long as he thought she looked gorgeous, that's all that matters.

i love her and think she looks beautiful, but i agree with the hair. i wish it at least had a little wave to it for her wedding day. either way, she looks great and I can't wait to see more pics!

I actually really like the idea of the dress. I wish I could see the whole thing. I like the idea of a blush gown for a second wedding.

i like how people are going with other colors for second weddings. valerie bertanelli wore blue, and reese wore pink... i like
as far as the hair... quite "every day"
