Refacing cabinets

I have cabinets that are outdated- but solid wood and WANT TO REFACE THEM, DOES ANYONE HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS, WHERE DID YOU GO TO LOOK, AND WHO DID THEM?TIA!

I'll FM you the name of the company we used. I don't have before and afters, but we had it done and I hate them. they look like cheap crap. I was told that they replaced the doors with real wood, nope, it's formica. The old trim at the edge of the cabinet and soffit was wider than they have now, so they left this terrible looking raw edge that I have to figure out what to do with it.

The only reason we went this route, since it's just as expensive as getting new cabinets, is that they told me it would only take a week and with a baby that was very appealing. Took a month, they neglected to mention that the cabinets only take a week, they won't measure for the counter tops until the cabinets were in. We had them make 2 new cabinets and both of them were screwed up and I had to wait for them to be remade and installed, which lengthed the process further. I was washing baby bottles in the bathroom sink.

When I complained to them they ignored me until I sent a return reciept letter to the president, and then all they did was tell me that I misunderstood the salesman. Yes, I'm so stupid that I can't comprehend the difference between one week and one month.

If they are solid wood you don't want to reface them!!!

They will just put veneers over them!

Refinish them!!!
