Unfortunately my little foreclosure got filled up with kitchen appliance from most likely.... another foreclosure! So, I must replace my fridge unfortunately. In bad shape. I'm looking to get a bottom freezer fridge, stainless steel.

Here is my question:

At what price to fridges become pieces of crap?

It's killing me have to get a new one right now, so I just don't want to spend an arm and a leg.

Most less expensive fridges that were built in the last 15 years have planned obsolescence of about ten years. I am not sure at what price point if any they have the twenty or thirty years of fridges manufacture red before the 1990s.
