Refusing bottle during the day
My ds is 6 months old. For the past couple of days he has been refusing his bottles but wakes up during the night about 3-4 times because he is hungry. From 8-530 last night he had 4 5 oz bottles. What can I do. This morning at 830 he ate a 5 oz bottle, took a nap. At 12 he had cereal with two oz formula and 1 jar of fruit. At 1-115 I made hima 6 oz bottle but he only ate 2 1/2 oz of it. I dont know what to do. I am exsausted and I feel like he is not getting enough to eat.

Re: Refusing bottle during the day
At this age formula is more important. He might be refusing it because he is full from the solids. Maybe try giving the bottle first, and then see if he wants to eat cereal and fruit. HTH

Re: Refusing bottle during the day
Sounds like teething. Ryan woudl refuse the bottle when his front teeth came in - it hurt too much to drink. Then he'd wake at night and inhale bottles from being so hungry. not much you can do but wait it out. Try Tylenol 20 min before a feeding - esp later in the day to get them thru the nite. Good luck!
