Here ya go, as promised! 
1st pic - natural curls (look how tiny Jake was in that pic  )
2nd pic - what it usually looks like when I blow dry it straight myself
3rd pic - today, almost 4 wks post straightening, this was the first time I let it air dry this morning... there are bends in it because I had it up in a ponytail for awhile because I was cooking. Oh and I dyed it black 5 weeks prior to the straightening. Image Attachment(s):

My hair looks just like yours (in the pic where you do it yourself) but to begin with is it less curly and more frizzy!
