registry question about patterns

Did you register for things in the same patterns for consitency?

I tried to do this, but it seems a lot of items were discontinued in my patterns. So, my travel system, bouncer, swing, highchair, and pack and play are ALL different patterns. It seems so all over the place.

Anyone else have this situation, or did you make sure everything was the same pattern?

none of my stuff is the same pattern- i see no need for it to be and i also dont want my home to look like a display floor for the product at hand lol

My pack n play and high chair are the same pattern. Otherwise everything else is different. I went with what got good reviews and ratings. It just happened to be that two of the things matched.

I know what you mean! I like things to match or at least coordinate, but I was only able to find my swing and high chair in the same pattern (they will be in the same room). I think it's pretty much impossible to get everything you want that has good reviews in the same pattern.

they're all different, but its not a big deal. they're all pretty neutral.

same here..i think only my pak and play and high chair are the same..everything else is different..i tried to stay in the same general color family but by the end I gave up..it is all gender neutral though since we don't know what we are having

nope. I chose by the model/features I liked and they didnt have the option in the same pattern. I actually like being able to have different patterns though. for the most part they are all earth tone colors

i just registered for things i liked. honestly, most of my stuff doesn't come in "patterns" anyway, but even if it did it wouldn't matter to me. as long as you like it and think it goes that's what counts.

We have almost all hand me downs, so nothing of ours matches. For us, beggers can't be choosers. lol

I originally started matching everything.. but then I changed a lot.. My travel system and pack n play are matching.... the bouncer, swing, pay mat are different! Some of the activity things are better from like fisher price... more activity and stimulating!!

I registered for the same pattern out of sheer laziness...I drew the line at the matching diaper bag though!

I have yet to register but I know what I am going to do. None of my stuff will be the same pattern. The pnp that I want, doesn't have a matching car seat. The highchair I am going with one that got a really good rating & the bouncer, DH & I bought over the weekend bc I wanted the rainforest one that is discontinued.
