Registry stalking question...
I really just can't stop myself it feels like an OCD. My shower is next saturday and I feel like nothing is coming off am I being paranoid! When did you start to see stuff really come off? OK I am crazy I know!

I am in the same boat as you! My shower is next Saturday too & it seems that only a couple of items came off. I am getting nervous that DH & I will have purchase a lot on our own....

When i had my dd shower i had people wait for the last second for shopping- I had the same thing happen to me- everything just vanished off the a day or two before. some people stopped at the store on the way to the shower-(they told me)

Yeah same here, a few big things were bought, i know because it's from my sister and my mother.

OMG get out of here, I know me and I always shop the week of the event, I am late like that. DH keeps saying to me you have 53 people coming do you think 53 people are going to show up with a gift lol. But i am paranoid!

At least you are having a bigger shower. Mine is only 30 people & like you said, some of the items purchased I know are from my SIL but also we got 2 of the big gifts bought already from friends.

I'm pretty sure my shower is next saturday is also but I have no idea what came off. I'm still not looking :)
but my friend/coworker keeps checking my registry out, and adds / deletes things when i tell her to LOL

im a stalker too - and only a few larger items have come off that I know our parents/close relative bought.
im not worrying too much because my shower isnt for another month BUT I have the same fear!
i keep telling FH we have to save bc we're going to have to buy a lot of the stuff ourselves, he keeps telling me im crazy

I just had my shower and some items I received never even came off my registry - but magically I got no doubles....
and like someone said in a PP I think that 1/2 the guests shop right before.
Have no worries you will receive all that you want / need and MORE!!!
I had about 30 people at my shower and if you look in my album there is a picture of most of the gifts - I say most because no one could get a shot with all of them in 1 pic LOL!!!!
it took 3 truck loads to get everything home.... OMG!!

I remember feeling the same way about my bridal shower. I think alot of people leave it to the last minute.
I bet this weekend you'll see alot of items purchased

My shower is this weekend and I have NOT looked at my registry since my invites went out. I'm being really good.
According to my MIL, not much has been purchased. I kind of wish she didn't say anything, because that made my urge to check even stronger. I was so tempted, but I knew I'd be mad at myself if I caved and checked it out.
But that was also a week ago, and based on the sloooow responses of the rsvp's for my shower, I'm guessing I have some very sloooow shoppers too.
I guess what is keeping me from looking at my registry is that I know I'll have to buy whatever I need myself, so why worry about that until I need to.

You are really good, I can't stop it...I say that I will stop by tomorrow but I know me and I just can't I was the same way with my Bridal Shower!

As soon as I registered a bunch of things went flying off my registry. Then nothing moved until the week before my shower. I think next week you'll see things coming off every day! Probably even this weekend too.
