Regretting my choice of paint color

Uggghh...I'm the most indecisive person in the world, so to actually have to commit to a paint color was really, really hard. Well, I chose BM's new Chestnut for our bedroom. The painters put on the first coat today and I'm thinking it's WAY too dark. I know it will look different once my molding is painted, furniture is in, etc. But I just feel like crap. DH is so good...he says, if you don't like it we'll re-paint it. I feel bad because we paid someone to paint it, plus y'all know, BM paint is not cheap.

Did anyone else have a similar situation???? My bedroom is only 15x12...so the room is not that big.

Give it a few days.

You could always use one lighter shade or two and paint one or two walls. That way you don't repaint everything but have a lighter wall. Just make sure it's the same hue.

That's a good idea...better than painting the whole room over. I like Yosemite Sand, which is in the same series as New Chestnut.

Or do a chair rail and paint a lighter shade on top?

I felt that way when I painted my bedroom. But the while moulding made a huge difference as did the curtains and bedding.
