? related to milk for 16 month old

I posted yesterday that I am transitioning DD to drink her milk only from sippys no more bottles. She doesn't really seem to care about drinking the milk b/c they are in sippys but doesn't complain wanting her bottle...how many oz. of milk should she be drinking a day and does a yogurt or cheese count as milk too?

I'm having the same issue. Timmy wasn't really interested in his bottle anymore (he would just play with it, hold it, etc), so I started to put the milk in sippy cups........sometimes he'll have it, most times he'll take a sip or 2 and he's done. He's definitely not getting the 16 oz., but I do supplement with yogurt and cheese. The pedi says that counts! His next appt. is on 2/21 and not drinking milk is on my list of questions for the doctor. It's so hit or miss with Timmy though. I usually bring in a sippy cup while I rock him to sleep........tonight he drank it all, the previous few nights, he didn't drink any of it. I did buy Nestle Quick thinking he would drink it if it had a chocolate-y taste, but he didn't seem excited about it..........

Can I just tell you, Lily looked so cute in her jeans and pink shirt the other day??? She is adorable!!!

HI!!!!! OMG how are you?? AWWW Timmy is so cute!! Thanks about Lily. Ok so you just made me feel 1000x better :). It is funny b/c when she turned 1 I took away her bottle at daycare and gave them a sippy. They say she drinks pretty well for them there...so I know she can do it lol. OK so good I give yogurt and tons of cheese to her. Def. let me know what your Ped. says I am just curious...
