Remember my GD Test Aftermath Feelings?? Guess What....
I failed....
They want you at 130 - i was at 185....
taking the 3 hour on Tuesday....
I expected it - so i'm not stunned or sad - but it still BITES....

I am with you... I was not stunned or sad.. it just sucks... I have already been through the 3 hour with my son and I am dreading doing it again with this child.... I can tell you make sure someone goes with you, they will give you the drink and you have to sit and wait.. every hour they will take blood... since you cant eat or drink you may be weak... i was after my test... My 3 hour is on Jan 14th..
I am so sorry you have to go through this... Keep me posted... Good Luck...

Aww I'm sorry - but if it makes you feel better I was right in that range with my 1 hour and my OB said I would fail the 3 hour - but I passed with pretty good numbers! So don't lose hope.

Oh!! I feel for you, i just got my 1 hr. GTT and i BOMBED it with a 153!!! I have to do the 3 hr next week!! Good Luck!! Not looking forward to a diabetic diet in pregnancy...

Oh boy. The 3 hour does stink, and I actually feel asleep in the waiting room b/c the the sugar drink made me so tired! Bring a good book, and a blackberry if you have one.
The good news is you will feel better on the GD diet, but I have my fingers crossed for you anyway!

thanks so much girls....i knew it was coming...i just did.
i have SLIM hope that maybe i'll pass the 3 hour - i guess we'll just have to wait & see... I was just SHOCKED that they told me they'd call in a week and the MINUTE i saw the OB line number come up on my cell i knew...
