Remember the charm necklaces of the 80's ?
They are kind of back I think 
Loved those things ! Saw them in a Toys-R-Us ad !

I was just talking about them to a coworker. Yeah, they were longer and so cheaply made haha but oh so freaking cool!
ETA: maybe they weren't longer but we were smaller?

I had the egg in the frying pan too and I was just thinking of that one, it was the first one that came to my mind.

I was a day camp counselor and the kids in my group would sometimes come in with new charms that they picked for me. I would wonder why they thought I would want a duck or something like that but I was always flattered that they wanted to add to my necklace. These kids were 7 and I was about 19 or 20 and we all had those necklaces. I think there were even brands of the charms and some kids only wanted specific brands. I often kept mine hanging from my rear view mirror and didn't actually wear it except when the kids wanted me to.
