remember this post: Really wants to know how this could happen in this day and age.. well did you see this story? HOW?
OMG REALLY HOW CAN YOU DO THIS STILL!! I JUST DONT GET IT!!!Watch Video if you can!!!
can not believe what i just saw. A baby no more then a year old bouncing and playing around in the back seat of a car. REALLY in this day and age there is no excuse for it. The Beautiful little girl even looked back at me and waved as I was on the phone with the police. All i could picture was that angelic little face going through the windshield 
I followed the car till the cops came off a side street and caught them. Oh and I also saw no car seat in the car either. Sad so sad. This happened on Montauk Highway!!! It was so scary how far I traveled just watching and praying that nothing happened. 
I wish I could find out what happened to the stupid stupid parents.
*** there was an adult in the back seat with the baby playing with her not even holding her

Unbelievable!!
The other day, there was a story on the news about a mother who was arrested driving in Long Beach or Oceanside under the influence with her 3 year old sitting unrestrained in the backseat!!!
I am glad to hear that you made the call that you did. Maybe it will teach them a lesson before something tragic happened to them.

thats crazy. The other day i seen a lady with a baby who was maybe 5 or 6 months in a car with a infant seat but she was carrying the baby. she pulled up with him in it but left with him on her lap.

Is it possible that the car was a private car service?
In Brooklyn where I live, very often ordinary cars will pick you up and there's no markings on them to indicate that they are actually a car service. I've heard there are exceptions to the car seat rule in that case. I don't know, because I've never done it with my own child - nor would I - but it's the only logical explanation that I could think of.

If that was the case, they would have to have TLC plates (or other car for hire plates). Car services can not use private cars and have the same "benefits"

yesterday i passed an suv and the front passenger was holding a infant he looked around 5 or 6 months old and it was on the LIE i dont know what goes on in peoples heads ugghh i just wanted to take that baby away from them and surprisingly although the LIE is always swarming with them there was not 1 sheriff in sight

Nope no car service. This was a couple in the mid 20's. Mom looked back at me. They where of a Hispanic decent. DO NOT TAKE THAT OUT OF CONTENT!! I am Hispanic. I say that only because if they are immergrants from say Mexico is is VERY common to see kids not in car seats . I might call the 7th tomorrow too see if they will tell me anything
