Removing closet doors on a track w/ a roller?

Anyone know how to remove sliding closet doors that are on a roller / track?

Do you just lift up off the track?

For some reason it doesn't seem easy to do...

It takes some maneuvering but yes, lift them up and then down. You will need to unscrew them from the thingamajig up top (that is attached to the door and roller).

usually one set of the rollers is on sort of a spring, you may need to push the whole door straigh up or straight down. Otherwise you can go inside the closet & take the rollers off w/a screwdriver

Sometimes, you have to unscrew the guide on the floor first. We have sliding closet doors, and there is a small guide with one or two screws. Once that is undone, I push the door up a bit, then swing it out towards me, and it comes right out.

Thank you! We have that guide on the floor also!

I am going to try unscrewing that first!!!
