Removing weeds from patio

whats the best way to remove weeds from in between the bricks of patio? I tried round up on an extra piece we have lying around and it looks like it bleached or left some type of white residue.

I like to use vinegar for stuff like that. There are tons of different recipes on-line, but most use some combination of vinegar, water, salt, and dish soap (it helps the mixture to stick to the leaves better).
It's about half as effective as Round-up, but it's basically salad dressing, so I just spray it twice as often. I've been having my DC do it for years. I wouldn't have them spraying Round-Up, but salad dressing is OK.

FH & I were just talking about this yesterday. My mom has always used white vinegar. I don’t think she mixes it with anything.
