Renting a breast pump from the hospital?
I am only going to be home with the baby for 2 months in the summer (baby due 7/8 and returning to work the second week of september) so I was told to look into renting a pump from the hospital if I am only going to breastfeed/pump for a short period of time rather than purchase. does Winthrop hospital rent pumps? Does anyone know how much it costs? Would I need to purchase anything in addition to renting the pump? Does insurance cover any of the above costs?

There was a post the other day about some insurance companies covering breast pumps. Depends on who you have, I would call your insurance company and ask.

I also think the Medela website will give you info on where to rent a pump by putting in your zip code.
