renting tables and chairs
i have 35 - 40 people coming over for my daughters b-day party. how many tables and chairs should i rent? who do you recommend?

where are you located?
In Suffolk, my mom uses Elegant Eating in Smithtown.
If you call them, they will tell you how many tables you need.
ETA- I jut realized, not sure if they rent the actual tables... but I'm sure they could recommend someone if they dont!!!

I use A to Z for our rentals every year. The amount you need depends on if you will have other seating available. If not, I would go with 4 60" round tables and 40 chairs - 10 people will fit comfortably around each table.
They rent linens there also.
ETA: they are on the LIE service road in Plainview - right by Pieces

AAA party rentals in garden city, have a big selection and are reasonable.
