Sorry for the repost, but this place gets a bit more traffic.
We are getting a couch delivered on Friday and need to clean our carpet quickly and cheaply. Has anyone ever rented the machine? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes, when we moved into the house and again recently when Misty went in the back bedroom. It works pretty well, we got the smallest one for $20 from Lowes. You have to give the carpet at least a day to dry before putting the couch in or put dry sponges under the feet of the couch. Otherwise your couch feet will warp.
