Repost from TTC--Help??
This is our first month TTC. We BD on CD 12 and 14. My cycle is usually 28 days but last month was 25. I've already passed the 25 day window and 28 days will be tomorrow. No sign of AF. No PMS. Sensitivity to smells, slight nausea, sniffles. What do you think. Tested today and got a negative. My friend thinks if I was pregnant it would show up on the tests. Any opinions. Also we were a little confused as to when we should be doing it(besides for regularly) I have the ovulite and OPKs so once I get a surge line we should BD that night, next night and the next night?

I didn't get a postive until I was a day late. So I don't think you should really take the negative as a negative until you are late.
As far as Bd'ing my dh and I did that every other day, during my peak days.

I would also wait until you missed AF. Its the most accurate time to determine.

Ok so that should be tomorrow if I go back to my normal cycle tomorrow is 28 days from the start of my last AF so I guess I'll test Friday assuming I don't get it. Thanks Ladies. As far as BD'ing once you get a surge you do it every other day for 6 days?

yes, once you get the surge you can probably say you will ovulate within 12-36 hours after it. You should try to BD everyday for about 3-5 days so you don't miss it. Just remember though and try not to get too frustrated, even with conditions being 100% you still only have a 25% chance of conceiving within each cycle.
