Restaurant for Date night
Hi!
Asking here for a recommendation for a nice restaurant in Nassau for a much needed date night. I have a DS, but looking for something that is not a family type place, but is quiet with good food. We are in central Nassau, so I am looking for something in Merrick, East Meadow, Levittown, Wantagh area.

Open to pretty much any type of food, but DH is not a huge fan of Chinese and no sushi.

La Parma in Oceanside
There are several in RVC, near the movie theatre.

How do you feel about Great Neck because DH and I just had a date night at Burton and Doyles. Yummo and quiet and date night like.
We ate like pigs and had the best bottle of wine ever.
I highly recommend the rib steak.
I will be eating mac and cheese for the remainder of the month.

2steak and Sushi Den in new Hyde Park- just went there for my birthday.
Those are great if you are willing to travel.

We went to Thom Thom in Wantagh last night and it was awesome.
They have sushi but they also have a ton of steak and chicken and fish options...
it was our "date night!"

B&D is our all time favorite!! We used to live in Great Neck and went on a semi-regular basis - with 2 kids and a house to pay for, we don't get there quite as often, but still LOVE it.
I love that it is a steak place but actually feels like a nice restaurant. IMO it is MUCh better than Peter Lugers - and you don't have to pay cash
Porterhouse for 2 is awesome!
