Singletons in Hicksville -- it was great, and reasonably priced.

It might help to know what area you are looking in....

Ditto!!! Food was awesome and price was right. To be honest, I don't have a clue as to what we paid.

We did as well. We paid $24.95 pp

This time I think we are going to the Westbury Manor. We are still negotiating the price.

If you are out east....how about the Three Village Inn? They have great food and a nice atmosphere.

I love the Garden Grill...our rehearsal dinner was there.

Re: Restaurant ideas for a Baptism

What day and time are you having it. Ours was a sunday daytime, we ran a tab and it ended up being WAY cheaper than adding the pp amount per head. We did pitchers of wine and beer.

Re: Restaurant ideas for a Baptism

Depending on the drinking crowd you are having - you may just want to run a bar tab instead of adding alcohol per peron if you don't think everyone will drink. It may be cheaper that way!

They have their restaurant prices, in addition to their catering. The packages are different, but they are pretty good at negotiating with us and altering the menu to do so. I definitely do not need 5 courses for a baptismal. We want a place where we can have the ceremony there. (We are non-denom). Last time we had DSs ceremony in the Historical Chapel, but they dropped the ball on a lot of stuff & were ridiculously priced....so overall we are saving about $500 to "rent" the ceremony area at WM.
